Recent share price volatility of Flariant (605566.SH) has drawn market attention. On July 8, Flariant’s stock closed at RMB 29.6. Compared with its peak of RMB 52.93 on June 23, the stock has tumbled 44%.
Meanwhile, progress in the company’s flexible tactile sensing business is gradually unfolding. Sources reveal that Hyper-Tactile Robotics (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. (“Hyper-Tactile”), its 60%-owned holding subsidiary, has recently secured three million-yuan intent orders within the consumer electronics sector. Industrial collaboration in the embodied intelligence track continues to deepen. The company’s full-stack flexible electronic skin technology covering mass production processes, flexible sensor arrays, AI algorithms and standardized scenario solutions is accelerating industrial deployment across multiple scenarios. The firm focuses on advancing customized product capabilities for embodied intelligent flexible sensors and end-to-end application capabilities for software algorithms.
The company is steadily pushing forward business transformation amid stock price declines. What underlies this market dynamic? Wang Zhenyan, Secretary of the Board of Flariant, stated that the stock fluctuation represents normal short-term trading activity in the secondary market, and no material changes have occurred to the company’s fundamentals. There is no undisclosed information that should be announced as a listed firm. Nevertheless, the company maintains firm long-term strategy to support Hyper-Tactile and develop the flexible tactile sensing track.
On June 5, Flariant hosted the “New Product Launch: Flariant Empowers Hyper-Tactile” at its Hangzhou headquarters, unveiling more than ten self-developed intelligent flexible sensing products. Li Baichun, Chairman and General Manager of Flariant, expressed strong confidence at the launch, aiming to foster the company’s second performance growth curve via this initiative.
A senior executive from Hyper-Tactile commented that commercialization of its consumer electronics business has accelerated since the new product launch. The company has locked multiple million-yuan targeted intent projects with leading industry players, covering three core application scenarios: AI smart toys, TWS audio devices and smart wearables.
First, customized exclusive holistic tactile feedback solutions have been developed for leading domestic AI toy manufacturers. Leveraging multi-modal fusion sensor array technology, the solutions deliver multi-dimensional interactive feedback for touches and gentle strokes, effectively improving human-machine interaction experience and product competitiveness of smart terminals.

Second, a reusable standardized intelligent control solution for TWS audio products has been rolled out. Integrated with core functions such as pressure-sensing gesture control and adopting a modular architecture, it can be quickly adapted to audio terminals of diverse brands and categories. The solution is currently undergoing trial production and debugging.
Third, the company cooperates with an international sports fashion brand to implement a smart schoolbag sensing system. Supported by large-area flexible pressure array technology, the system realizes intelligent functions including load monitoring and posture correction reminders, enabling intelligent upgrading for children’s healthy wearable scenarios.
A securities analyst familiar with the consumer electronics industry pointed out that the smooth advancement of Hyper-Tactile’s million-yuan intent projects with leading clients carries two core industrial values. On one hand, confirmation of intent cooperation and small-batch trial production procurement from top domestic and global brands serve as authoritative industry recognition of Hyper-Tactile’s full-stack flexible tactile technology, mass production processes and product stability, fully verifying the advancement and implementability of its technical solutions. On the other hand, the three mature, standardized and replicable solutions for AI toys, TWS audio and smart wearables avoid heavy repeated R&D investment. They can be rapidly adapted to similar terminal products across the industry, creating ample room for future large-scale market promotion and penetration into segmented tracks.
The aforementioned Hyper-Tactile senior executive added that built on self-developed core material systems, fully automated production processes and comprehensive quality control systems, the company has established mature large-scale mass production capacity. Combined with efficiently replicable standardized product portfolios, Hyper-Tactile has formed distinctive competitive advantages in the industry.
Focus on Two Core Tracks: Embodied Intelligence Customization & AI Perception
In the embodied intelligence sector, Hyper-Tactile has launched technical communication and solution verification cooperation with multiple leading developers of humanoid robots and dexterous hands.

The senior executive shared further details: “Targeting prevailing industry pain points, we have launched two customized electronic skin solution series. For delicate manipulation scenarios of dexterous hands, we have developed ultra-high-resolution miniaturized tactile arrays capable of precisely detecting subtle gram-level force changes to meet sensing requirements for precision operations. For full-body robotic perception scenarios, we provide cost-effective flexible pressure-sensing array solutions, laying a solid pricing foundation for full-body robot coverage and popularization. Meanwhile, relying on our self-developed tactile AI engine, we deliver end-to-end ‘hardware + algorithm’ services for clients, greatly shortening R&D and iteration cycles for terminal products.”
Moreover, an increasing number of developers in the robot perception field recognize that robots need not only the ability to “see” but also to “touch”. Genuine demand for tactile capability is emerging. Electronic skin integrating high-density tactile sensing networks and full-area coverage acts as the core perception medium bridging AI digital intelligence and interaction with the physical world.
Beyond sensing capability itself, Hyper-Tactile prioritizes model training. Through massive-scale data collection supported by its data acquisition center, the company conducts extreme condition tests in simulation environments to boost generalization capabilities of reinforcement learning, generating high-quality “training materials” for robots to interact with the physical world.
Following the closed-loop logic of “multi-dimensional sensing collection – AI model processing – edge model training – real-scenario application”, multi-dimensional tactile information is converted from raw data streams into interpretable data models, delivering robust perceptual data support for the deployment of embodied intelligence in unstructured service scenarios.
Modern artificial intelligence boasts mature visual and auditory perception systems. However, high-precision flexible tactile sensing remains a key bottleneck restricting intelligent agents from physical-world deployment. Flexible electronic skin technology acts as a core component to complement embodied intelligence perception, enable natural human-machine interaction, and facilitate the transition of robots from “automated execution” to autonomous intelligent decision-making.
Against this industrial backdrop, Hyper-Tactile has formulated a phased development strategy: Consolidate foundations via consumer electronics, expand and empower diverse scenarios, and explore the future of embodied intelligence.
